06:28 with this version I don’t want to do it 06:30 and then you talk to your friend and 06:31 your friend said oh no don’t buy don’t 06:34 buy this buy AI buy a German so our 06:38 trust Factor goes way higher with 06:40 referrals and reviews that’s why we want 06:41 to focus on it this is where it’s it’s 06:44 so important not only to get on SEO but 06:46 also get credibility of your business they’re getting 08:49 every month it’s not where you are it’s 08:51 where you’re going how fast are you 08:53 getting new advantages new reviews 08:55 what’s going on in the market top 10 08:57 look at this 9.1 review per per 09:00 month I’m shocked to say that average 09:02 business have about 0.7 reviews per 09:06 month so this is how where you need to 09:08 be in order to get beat the competition 09:11 and replies Google look at the replies 09:13 how active and engaged you are pretty 09:15 much Community aspect average is 32% of 09:18 reviews are get reply to so some Brands 09:21 replying to 100 some Brands reply to 09:23 none 32% now how does this impact your 09:26 sales first of all let’s let’s figure it 09:28 out how many of you have competition 09:31 there is 20 yoga 20 Fitness 20 massage 09:34 businesses in every 10 miles radius the 09:37 fact is it’s not going to slow down now 09:39 put yourself in the shoes of Google 09:41 Google comes up and says oh my God 09:43 there’s a this girl from the 09:45 neighborhood searching on my Google 09:47 algorithm and and looking for massage 09:49 how the heck do I present her with the 09:52 best res uh search 09:55 results Google ask your customer 10:01 how they feel about your business and 10:03 they ask your competitor customer how 10:05 they feel about their business to 10:07 position you in the search results they 10:10 look into Google reviews there’s 10:11 probably 16 different elements but 10:13 strong ones of course there’s a distance 10:15 there’s other things is reviews so if 10:18 you don’t get a chance to be selected by 10:22 Google in top three listings you don’t 10:25 have a chance even to be chosen by Your 10:28 Potential Prospect to se select you it’s 10:31 all about competition to be good with 10:34 Google only three out of 20 out of 40 10:37 depends on what business you are in are 10:39 selected to be on the top and now once 10:43 you are there in the top three it really 10:47 depends of how you compete with the top 10:49 three to be selected are you now second 10:51 one first one second one or third one 10:53 28% of customers really search for 10:56 nearby and 10:58 they’re and they directly lead to 11:00 purchase people with intent to buy and 11:03 come in given two products with similar 11:05 rating customers are more likely to buy 11:07 product with more reviews two businesses 11:10 4.5 star rated one five reviews one 500 11:13 which one would you choose let me show 11:15 you example Yoga Joint Bernie our client 11:18 Bernie if you are on the call glad to 11:20 have you here uh but this is what’s 11:23 happening you go in and search for yoga 11:27 in Fort 11:28 Lauderdale Yoga Joint number one but 11:31 let’s search 11:32 yoga 11:34 DAV and I’ll zoom on this and if you’re 11:38 a person searching for yoga business 11:39 which one would you choose one that says 11:42 4.9 of 1,00 11:46 reviews or one that says 4.5 73 reviews 11:49 or one that says 4.8 11:51 68 by the way there’s 20 different yogas 11:54 in this area they just just didn’t get a 11:57 chance that’s why yoga joint has 60 11:59 people per class and killing it barely 12:03 can ever find advertising on a Facebook 12:04 for 12:05 them this is it guys the whole reason 12:08 why we are doing this is to show you the 12:11 ways that positioning yourself on Google 12:15 without having to pay for Google for 12:17 sponsor ads without having to pay agency 12:20 to sponsor your position there you can 12:24 be there at no cost and it’s long 12:27 lasting you know how long it takes yoga 12:28 connection to catch up from 73 to 1100 12:30 reviews they’re decade a distance are 12:33 you guys following me on 12:36 this I want you to see that Google can 12:39 be your best partner in a business it’s 12:43 the best thing you can do for your 12:44 business without having to spend a dime 12:46 on it now let’s talk about how do we do 12:50 this so relevance distance prominence 12:53 first of all is IR relevance you got to 12:55 open your Google my business listing and 12:56 update it if there’s a question there 12:58 that’s empty field updated we don’t do 13:00 this job for you we don’t even have 13:01 access to your Google my business this 13:03 is where you need to go just go Google 13:05 my business edit your profile and update 13:07 your services your descriptions your 13:09 pictures and so on if people Google and 13:12 I saw it in the past think that your 13:13 shoe repair business because 10 years 13:16 ago somebody created a profile for you 13:18 and you didn’t you didn’t update it 13:20 you’re in trouble has to be your area 13:22 your keywords your 13:24 services properly set right address for 13:27 success 13:30 then distance of course is always going 13:33 to position businesses there nearby you 13:36 cannot impact that much but you can 13:37 regulate the area where you are located 13:40 and what you have full control over it 13:42 is reviews how many count and quality 13:45 you have and when you talk about that 13:48 there is five elements here quality 13:52 means a lot that means are you four star 13:55 rated 4.5 that’s already below the 13:58 average 14:00 4.8 that’s expectations now or you are 14:03 really in Upper line 4.9 and five star 14:06 ratings think about it it really matters 14:09 now quantity the more the better you saw 14:12 it 1.1 th000 yoga versus 73 two reasons 14:15 why you need it first of all Google 14:17 likes it second of all people who see it 14:19 they like it it’s absolutely GameChanger 14:23 the more the 14:24 merrier are you guys with me on 14:27 this for some of you this is like it’s 14:29 obvious but then will they never did 14:31 anything about it now keyword mentions 14:34 in reviews they are also tiny SEO 14:37 articles if you hire SEO agency you pay 14:39 them a lot of money to write a content 14:41 for you to choose carefully articles and 14:44 keywords to position around your website 14:46 now your customers will describe your 14:49 business the way they they’re doing to 14:51 search for it and what’s important to 14:54 them so there’s no better SEO than 14:57 content inside review recency if the 15:00 business didn’t get any reviews Google 15:01 think you are not relevant you might not 15:03 be even be open so the consistency in 15:06 recency of reviews is super important 15:08 nine per month is what top 10% 15:10 businesses are doing nine per month and 15:12 now engagement it’s kind of community 15:14 aspect if the Google see that you’re 15:16 replying on reviews and engaging in that 15:18 reply there’s a multiple factors SEO 15:21 optimize 15:22 replies Google friendly algorithm likes 15:25 that and as well your customers who 15:27 wrote your view when you reply to it 15:30 they get notification you get reply so 15:32 they feel respected they feel like they 15:35 get paid back for their review think 15:38 about it so let me show you results guy 15:42 see this is the simple process this is 15:45 the part of your dashboard in the back 15:46 end where you can see the intake of 15:49 reviews but what do we start to measure 15:52 internally behind the curtain is how 15:54 many 15:56 Impressions have been increased for your 15:58 listing 15:59 on the mobile apps on desktop mobile 16:01 search and Direction requests so we want 16:04 to make sure that your position experience about you know 17:12 what happens with your business and with 17:15 with your reviews over the period you 17:17 are with referer thank you for 17:19 absolutely absolutely yeah know 17:20 absolutely it’s it’s a pleasure to be 17:22 here for sure so I started my first 17:24 location in Cambridge in Boston and um I 17:27 was an owner operator so essentially I 17:29 tried to do a lot of things on my own 17:31 which of course was good for the first 17:34 couple months until things picked up and 17:36 I realized I can’t do everything myself 17:38 especially with high quality and then 17:40 that’s I think when I started ref Riser 17:41 it was only two three months after I 17:43 started I think I had 60 maybe 50 Google 17:47 reviews and uh I think now we’re up to 17:50 750 something Google reviews and to your 17:53 former points um I can tell you with 17:56 Assurance here that just five months ago 17:58 we significantly decreased the ad budget 18:01 we have on Google ads which was the 18:02 highest for us and that that’s why we 18:04 felt safe because our listing kind of 18:07 tends to be high with all those reviews 18:09 and yeah I mean I’d love to be sharing 18:11 any strategy you’d like me to to talk 18:12 about uh today and an adoption how hard 18:16 was for you and your team to 18:18 adopt reputation system is was it 18:21 something you had to go through the 18:22 training or how difficult was it yeah I 18:26 mean to be honest it was smooth I worked 18:28 uh with uh Nina and Sandy and different 18:31 kind of team members and it’s been it’s 18:33 been a pleasure since the beginning and 18:34 to be honest it’s pretty easy and quick 18:36 um we got all the training we need and 18:39 my experience with Boston was so good 18:41 that um with my second location in seon 18:43 we also employed Riser but now um a lot 18:46 of our dexfit locations use Riser and 18:48 even the incoming ones as well uh this 18:51 is a kind of a highly highly preferred 18:52 system for them to use so you use ads as 18:57 well you ads I want for everybody to 19:00 know guys when you advertise on Facebook 19:02 versus Google right Facebook is 19:04 Interruption it’s it’s it’s a 19:06 interrupting their flow their feed and 19:08 it’s impulse buy literally like oh I got 19:10 the deal I might buy it and that’s why 19:12 conversion is barely 10% when you go on 19:15 Google you go people go with intent to 19:17 find solution for the problem like it’s 19:19 intent of buying I’m more focused I have 19:21 a time you’re not interrupting my flow 19:23 so leads are usually more expensive 19:26 sometimes even five times more when it 19:27 comes to Google versus PPC see a 19:29 Facebook however they are way more 19:31 quality longer lifetime value they’re 19:32 not V Shoppers they are not interrupts 19:34 they’re different quality of the leads 19:37 and think about it this is more 19:38 expensive lead better quality lead 19:40 better conversion lead more lasting 19:42 lifetime Revenue less churn and in 19:44 Google you can get it for 19:46 free yeah I mean I can tell you when we 19:48 decreased the ad budget we had on Google 19:51 that that saves us tens of thousands of 19:53 dollars at this point because in the 19:54 beginning obviously it was necessary 19:56 because we just started the business and 19:57 so on but now as you said there’s High 20:00 intense search uh customers that search 20:02 on Google as you said in the beginning 20:05 social proof is a it’s a huge thing if I 20:07 see 700 people really liking something I 20:11 will say I probably like it we’re social 20:13 animals we’re wired that way and also I 20:14 think it’s it’s good to kind of 20:16 sometimes trust a good number of people 20:18 if they liked it probably most I would 20:20 say I would like it myself too so 20:23 absolutely and you’re such a business 20:24 unique business it’s scanning business I 20:26 loved your your business model think 20:28 every should be partnering up every 20:30 Valance business should be partnering up 20:32 with you as well but even in that such a 20:34 niche market you’re killing it and guys 20:37 you can see that in the chart what we 20:39 are showing here uh is extraction 20:42 through API we did some extraction from 20:45 API understanding clicks that means blue 20:48 line is number of clicks that increase 20:50 Impressions how many PE times people 20:51 search on a desktop maps on a desktop 20:54 search on a mobile maps on a mobile 20:56 search Direction request everything 20:58 everything lifted up 30% I mean 30% 21:00 overall but 50% from the day one so 21:03 you’re getting the lift in not in demand 21:06 but in your position and it’s very 21:08 important to know that if you are 10 and 21:11 you jump to number four you don’t get a 21:13 lift sorry you know if you are on 21:17 Olympic Games and you’re competing you 21:20 are one of 21:22 the what does the what does first person 21:25 Olympic Games get get a gold right 21:29 second person gets the silver third one 21:31 gets the bronze what does the fourth 21:33 fastest person in the world gets as a 21:37 reward nothing n you train your whole 21:41 life you end up fourth pastest out of 21:43 eight billion people person on the world 21:45 and you get nothing it’s the same no 21:47 mercy situation on Google if you’re 20th 21:49 or the fourth nobody cares you got to be 21:51 in top three and a bronze is never the 21:53 same as a gold what does the gold person 21:55 get becomes a hero of the country 21:59 becomes a hero here’s where you need to 22:01 become a hero for your clients for your 22:03 members for your employees for yourself 22:04 aim for number fun and it’s not that 22:08 competitive hza you’re awesome thank you 22:10 very much so what would be your advice 22:12 for somebody who is looking at this like 22:13 no I don’t know I don’t believe 22:16 it come on well I mean I I’ll try to 22:19 condense the advice that I have um but I 22:22 would say there are multiple elements 22:24 that can be taken advantage of here the 22:26 first one is the automation process so 22:29 for me as a business owner ultimately I 22:31 won’t be in the location myself to kind 22:33 of ensure a seamless process not only 22:35 for myself but for the staff because a 22:36 lot of the time the people who would be 22:38 asking for reviews for instance wouldn’t 22:40 just be me it would be the staff so what 22:43 personally referer help me with is that 22:45 it integrates with the scheduling 22:46 software that we use so all that the 22:49 staff need to do is just click on the 22:50 client’s name and click check in and 22:53 then at that point all I have to do is 22:54 go in refer rizer and then customize 22:56 whatever message I have you know kind of 22:59 short and sweet and also make it easy 23:00 for the people putting the link there 23:03 also the staff in person sometimes they 23:05 ask people can of sometimes telling them 23:07 a reason why they should they want to 23:08 leave a review it’s like we’re trying to 23:10 improve thing and this feedback will 23:11 help us we’ll send you a text and and 23:13 because the staff of Megan expect them 23:15 to be able to send an email to every 23:17 client and L link the Google reviews 23:19 there all they need to do is kind of 23:21 Click check in and it sends them that 23:23 and then the element of personalization 23:25 I I feel is also very important because 23:27 as you said every business is different 23:29 with dexit we do diagnostics 23:31 establishing Baseline for kind of Health 23:32 metrics so when we customize a message 23:35 we kind of you know customize what we 23:38 write in terms of collecting the Google 23:39 review putting the message there making 23:42 it as easy as possible I would say not 23:44 only for yourself but again for your 23:46 staff and uh for your clients as well 23:48 and the incentive would be I personally 23:50 believe people like to help especially 23:52 if it’s a service of course nothing 23:54 beats providing a good service once they 23:57 people feel they have been provided with 23:59 a good service the overwhelming vast 24:01 majority of people want to actually 24:03 leave a review they want to tell other 24:05 people that this was good oftentimes 24:07 what we see is that the issue would be 24:10 the hardship in in trying to leave a 24:11 review because people are busy people 24:13 are you know so once we send the link 24:15 once we send all the instructions and 24:17 and you know personalize the message 24:18 further people have an easy time just 24:20 clicking there leaving a fiveyear view 24:22 and then leave from there and I would 24:24 say you know that ease of action the 24:26 timing of the request too would be 24:28 important because at the end of each day 24:30 all again because it takes literally a 24:32 couple seconds to check people in I 24:34 would just try to do it the same day 24:36 because probably if they like the 24:37 experience they would have a better 24:39 recollection of it that same day rather 24:41 than trying to send it maybe a couple 24:42 weeks from it so timing of request um is 24:46 is definitely a plus personalization of 24:48 the messages I would say would be good 24:50 ease of action so like that’s where we 24:53 personalize the message put the link 24:54 there that’s an important thing and then 24:56 lastly would be kind of the incentive 24:58 that tell people kind of in person just 24:59 hey if you don’t mind leaving a review 25:01 trying to get feedback to improve their 25:02 services so we can democratize Health 25:04 metrics so obviously every every 25:06 business is gonna have their own thing 25:07 and then yeah lastly I would say um in 25:10 terms of being ranked in Google that 25:12 would be Google reviews really helped us 25:14 with that so you’re absolutely right 25:17 because most people now find us through 25:18 Google business profile they see the 25:20 reviews they see you know what people 25:21 say and I have a lot of people coming in 25:24 I we usually ask them and they say oh I 25:26 well kind of the feedback you guys got 25:28 and it looks pretty great so I decided 25:30 to go with it so there we go man your 25:33 your charm appreciate appreciate your 25:35 feedback your testimony and and uh your 25:38 responding you’re almost like ignoring 27:01 the the whole process of reviewing it we 27:03 make it easy for you now best time to 27:05 ask for review we all know it when is it 27:08 three years after the service three 27:10 months three days three minutes somebody 27:15 walks out from your business and happy 27:16 with the results they’re pumped up with 27:18 adrenaline or dopamine or workout or a day you 29:32 can but what’s going to happen is Google 29:35 will delete them think about it you have 29:37 not get any reviews four months maybe 29:39 one or two suddenly you get 30 reviews 29:41 in a day just because you ask everybody 29:42 to post review and 5% of your database 29:45 will so if you have thousand people you 29:47 might expect 50 29:49 reviews so imagine how Google saying 29:52 like what the heck happened here boom 29:54 and they will delete them I guarantee 29:55 you that Matias the person I showed you 29:58 there he suffered a loss of 30 30:01 reviews just because he blasted 30:03 everybody without control you want to 30:05 have call messages per day if you’re 30:08 doing email campaigns called spread 30:10 sending and you don’t want to send more 30:11 than two 300 emails per day just because 30:14 email click rate is not the same as text 30:16 are you guys getting this make sure you 30:19 get this you don’t want to make a damage 30:21 slow is better ease
